A programming utility can be used to configure the barcode reader and host system. The barcode scanner weighs 6.17 oz. and measures 2.6 x 2.4 x 7.9 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It can withstand drops of up to 4' on a concrete floor.
